The monkey ladder experiment shows how people follow habits without knowing why. One monkey gets punished for climbing the ladder, so the others stop trying. New monkeys come in and avoid the ladder too, not because they understand, but because “that’s just what everyone does.”
In crypto, it’s the same with buying and holding. Most people ape in because others are doing it, then they hold because that’s what they were told, even if the reason no longer makes sense.
Nobody asks why, they just do what the last guy did. If enough buyers follow blindly, the $monkey might actually go up.
